So much, so much (Now Bilingual)

Esta será la primera entrega bilingüe a ver que tal. En todo caso les estaba contando de la entrega para el profesor Smiley y trabajar en grupo. El grupo era fortisimo. Teniamos a Sari, que lee mucho y le gusta la cosa, Emmanuel que es el Flash master, Rennie, analitica y habil para la narrativa, Tomoko, una chica japonesa que trabajo para unos desarrollistas y esta muy interesada en tipologias residenciales. Gracias a la intransigencia de Sari, tuvimos que discutir toda la tarde en vez de adelantar la presentación y luego hubo que quedarse tarde haciendo el trabajo. Bueno, en fin, les cuento que fue una desilución trabajar con él. Después pedí la tarde libre del laboratorio de diapos y luego de picar cosas ricas en la exhibición de fin del curso introducción a la arquitectura del progrma Paris y NY, que parece ser un programa muy divertido., porque es mitad en Paris y mitad en NY... duh.

La buena noticia es que el trabajo en grupo para Studio ha ido sorprendentemente bien . A pesar de que al principio la gente no estaba aportando muchas ideas ni comunicandose muy bien, hemos tomado una idea y a través de aportaciones de todos la hemos desarrollado bien. Ahora, cuando algo comienza muy bien, yo me preocupo de cómo va a terminar. Pero en fin...

Hoy amanecí en casa de mi tío Porriqui. Fui allá a cenar con mis padres anoche y me quedé a dormir. Luego regresé a Studio a reunirme con la gente hoy, trabajamos y luego fui a comer con unos compañeros y a jugar frisbee con Jan. Muy divertido. Me corté el talón con un ‘sprinkler’. Me sali[o algo de sangre, pero use el botiquin de la escuela. En fin...

Vi las fotos del Sushi night de sandrita donde según me dicen me cantaron happy birthda, solo que no vi fotos del cake, solo vi a Eduardo muy acurrucado con tres chicas.. incluyendo a Gladys... cuidado por alla...

Well, we survived the PUAC presentations. I think in the end we pulled it off although, for such a strong group, I wish we had been able to better convey our information. Also I wish I had not gotten so caught up with studio work and had devoted more time to PUAC. In the end the critics were very cool and helpful. I think the fact that they did not mention the format, but only the content means the format was good. I think a good format makes for a good discussion that does not mention it. In any event, now it’s time to put the nose to the grindstone for studio, which has started out well enough, let{s just try to keep it that way.

Nice dinner today at Tom’s with Sang Woo, Peter and Jan… they chose to order breakfast stuff.. it[s safer, we went with the fish and chips, Peter’s old favorite… After that some pretty intense and bloody Frisbee with Jan. I cut my foot on a sprinkler and continued to play barefut, leaving blood prints in front of Dean Tschumi’s learner hall building. I think I stopped bleeding now… Well at least the blood drawn was not due to any group work, which like I said, the studio part is going much better now.
