Partiglots

Everything is well, just as I finished unpacking they gave me a bigger room, I moved yesterday afternoon, still jetlagged, despite sleeping a lot on first day and staying out last night past eleven... I was falling asleep in a cofeehouse with my TA.. we were in a business district full of trendy restaurants, karaoke and language schools, public offices and corporate offices, and his 'english presentation group' it was a great chance to meet real everyday young Koreans, just going about their daily routines of self improvement. They meet twice weekly to practice their english skills fot 2 hours, first two members present a light topic and then there is a group discussion about a current topic the topic yesterday was changed to social drinking as a Korean tradition.. it was for my beneffit and we had a really pleasant exchange. Of course, these young Koreans can share around a table of iced coffees, instead of alcohol, which is a change that was part of the conversation.
